Acclaimed musicians include Florenceville-Bristol venue during East Coast tour
In his ongoing effort to feature top musical talent for Upper St. John River Valley music lovers, Peter McLaughlin will feature a pair of acclaimed Ontario singer-songwriters at his Second Wind Music Centre this month.
Toronto’s Graham Nicholas and Ottawa’s Birdie Whyte will take the stage on Sunday, Oct. 20. The doors open at 2:30 p.m. for the 3 p.m. showtime. Tickers are $25, tax included.
Nicholas, a folk and roots songwriter, recently released his fourth full-length album, Black Creek.
He will be joined by Whyte, who earned acclaim for her insightful country-style lyrics and angelic voice.
Nicholas earned praise throughout the music industry for his ability to weave stories into his lyrics and songs.
The Second Wind Music Hall will be the first stop on the Maritime leg of Nicholas and Whyte’s tour. The recording artists will also perform in Sackville, N.B., Summerside, P.E.I, and several stops in Nova Scotia.
Nicholas said he and Whyte look forward to performing for the East Coast music fans.
“We are feeling grateful to be heading your way and to see so many friendly faces,” Nicholas said.
