No service, 911 unavailable on Bell landlines from Woodstock to Edmundston
New Brunswick Emergency Measures Organization (NBEMO) is warning residents of a telecommunications disruption in the northwestern part of the province.
NBEMO issued an emergency alert just after 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24.
“NBEMO has received reports of a telecommunications disruption from Woodstock to Edmundston,” read the alert. “Bell landlines may not work for emergency calls. If you need help, use a cell phone or other means.”
In a notice on social media this afternoon, Woodstock Police Force notified residents that Bell landlines were “down in our area.”
There is no word on when service will be restored.
