Sunday parade helping kick off events with something for everyone
On Saturday, people will gather for the Joe McGuire Road Race and lawnmower races. However, the Old Home Week parade on Sunday marks what many consider the official start of events in Woodstock.
This year’s parade Marshal is Samantha Fraser, daughter of Dwight and Fay Fraser.
The 33-year-old Woodstock resident is known for her infectious smile and legendary hugs. Samantha is a ray of sunshine in our community and will be sharing her kindness and positive energy with parade watchers this year.
The theme for this year’s parade is Proud Canadian.
