Western Valley Region RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating ‘vehicle of interest’
On Sept. 17, at approximately 9:20 p.m., members of the Western Valley Region RCMP attempted to initiate a traffic stop in Hartland on a vehicle that is known to be a vehicle of interest in connection with several break-and-enters in the area.
The vehicle, a black Ford 500, initially stopped; however, as police pulled in behind the vehicle, the driver put the vehicle in reverse and intentionally backed into the police cruiser. The suspect vehicle then fled the scene. No police officers were injured during this incident.
Police are now asking for the public’s help in connection with this investigation.
