Community begins fundraiser for Bronson Paul’s family after RCMP shooting
Members of Neqotkuk First Nation have set up a GoFundMe account to help the family of Bronson Paul.
Paul was shot dead by the RCMP in his home on Main Street in Neqotkuk after police were called to the home for a domestic disturbance on Sunday night, Jan. 18.
The Serious Incident Response Team (SiRT) was immediately brought in to investigate. Last Wednesday, Jan. 21, the community held a candlelight vigil outside his family’s home to show their support.
