Fire chief won’t confirm fatality, but fire marshal, RCMP remain on scene
A family home in Deerville was destroyed in an early-morning blaze.
On Thursday, Oct. 1, at around 5 a.m., the Lakeville Fire Department received a call about a fire at a minihome in Deerville.
Members of the Centreville Fire Department assisted Lakeville Fire Chief Ronnie Dickinson and his crew.
Dickinson would not confirm or deny whether there were any fatalities.
The RCMP and the Office of the Fire Marshal are investigating.
