Big Brothers Big Sisters of Carleton York preparing for its second annual golf tournament in Hartland

by | Aug 10, 2023

“We are full tilt into our Golf 4 Kids Charity Tournament,” said Big Brother Big Sister Carleton York executive director Brittney Toner.

She explained the organization would hold its second annual tournament on Sept. 7 at the Covered Bridge Golf and Country Club in Hartland.

Toner, a former big sister, said there’s still time to enter a team for the charity event by emailing golf4kids.woodstocknb@gmail.com

She said tournament day will begin with registration between 11 and 11:30 a.m., followed by team photos and opening remarks.

Golf will begin at 12:15 with a shotgun start and a best-ball format.

Toner said the day will feature plenty of activities besides golf, such as a photo booth, games, and prizes.

The inaugural Golf 4 Kids tournament was held in Woodstock last June, with 17 teams participating. Toner hopes to surpass that number this year.
