Covered Bridge Community to celebrate N.B. Day and its iconic bridge with four days of excitement
Four days of excitement will begin Friday evening under the shadow of the World’s Longest Covered Bridge as Hartland celebrates its annual Bridge Fest from Aug 4 to 7.
From a comedy show on the bridge Friday evening to the annual New Brunswick Covered Bridge Market on Monday, the four-day festival offers scores of entertainment and activity options.
Friday, from 7 to 11:30 p.m., sees comedians Michael Miskimen, Jeremy Campbell, Matt Keena, Scott Campagna and Neal Mundle delivering laughs while singer Zach Peters offers musical entertainment.
Saturday provides a full day of family activities, beginning at 9 a.m. with a guided nature walk hosted by the Becaguimac Trail Association and ending with fireworks on the waterfront.
The annual New Brunswick Day Covered Bridge Market, featuring more than 170 vendors on and around the famous bridge, will highlight Monday’s full day of family activities, including games, music, colour run, yoga and dancing.
