Annual event a great time for all

Bunnies and chocolate and games and eggs! The annual Easter in the Park celebration in Florenceville-Bristol took place on April 19, and kids of all ages had a great time.

The event, hosted by the District of Carleton North Tourism, was a great success, despite rainy weather and a last-minute change of location, with a great turnout.

Games and prizes were on hand, and the Easter Bunny stopped by for photos, hugs and smiles. Face painting, with the largest lineup of all, was provided by clowns Tutu and Joy, who transformed kids into tigers, bunnies, or anything their hearts desired.

Tourism Coordinator Maddie O’Keefe was quite happy with the number of visitors at this year’s event.

“I’m impressed with how many people are here,” said O’Keefe.

“It’s amazing,” said eight-year-old Delannee Hallett.
