Woodstock Police Force hosted a special community event
The Woodstock Police Force’s Community Engagement Unit is hosting a unique event to strengthen its bond with the people it serves.
Unit members will host “It’s time for a coffee with Woodstock Police” at 10 a.m. on Oct. 9 at Harlan Brews in downtown Woodstock.
The poster announcing the event explains the force’s motive.
“A cup of coffee is a common bond,” the poster reads. “And, it can help officers build better relationships with the community they serve.”
The event will not offer speeches or specific topics but “just informal conversations about what matters to our community.”
Drop by Harlan Brews to meet members of the Community Engagement Unit, ask questions, share stories, and learn more about those employed to protect and serve Woodstock.
Harlan Brews is located at 616 Main Street, near the Town Square.
