Free event during OHW a tribute to Karnes family
Family fun returns with games, bouncy castles, and a tribute to Karnes Family Day during Old Home Week
The Town of Woodstock is working with Planet Youth Woodstock to host the first FMI Family Day event on July 30, in conjunction with Old Home Week festivities.
The event pays tribute to the Karnes Family Day, which was an Old Home Week family favourite of many, says Brooke Schriver, Town of Woodstock Youth Development Coordinator.
“We’re hoping it will help revive some of the spirit and fun that many remember fondly,” said Schriver.
For zero cost, people in the community can stop by the AYR Motor Field House from 12 to 3 p.m. to enjoy the many activities. There will be games, face painting, and bouncy castles set up, along with free hot dogs, drinks, and snacks.
