Sacred Fire honours residential school survivors and community healing

The River Valley Sun’s Theresa Blackburn attended the Sacred Fire lit in honour of residential school survivors at Wotstak First Nation on Monday, Sept. 30. After the opening ceremony, Blackburn spoke with WFN Grassroots Coordinator Ashley Gillespie about the community’s new healing site and her own healing journey.
