Group hosts local survivors panel and information session
The River Valley Suicide Prevention Committee will host a morning of reflection, connection, and hope on Saturday, Nov. 23, in honour of “National Survivors of Suicide Loss Day.” The event is being held at NBCC Woodstock Campus Theatre beginning at 11 a.m.
Four speakers will share stories, two from the perspective of people who have lost loved ones to suicide and two from the perspective of people who have attempted suicide. The session is being presented as a ‘trauma-informed and recovery-focused’ event.
