RCMP thank the public for their help

On Sunday, Aug. 17, the Western Valley Region RCMP announced on social media that the 84-year-old man from Rosedale, who was reported missing to police on August 11, 2025, has been located safe.

In a previous news release, the RCMP said Royce Clark was last seen on Aug. 9, at approximately 12:54 p.m., at a business on Connell Street, in Woodstock. The police noted they had followed up on several leads, but were not successful at the time. The RCMP’s initial news release said that both the family and police officers were worried about his well-being, even releasing a photo of the man’s truck in the hopes someone might spot the vehicle.

On Sunday, no other details were provided about Clark’s condition or the circumstances surrounding his being found safe.
