65-year-old missing since Monday, Sept. 21
The Western Valley RCMP is asking the public for help locating a missing 65-year-old man from the community of Waterville.
In a social media post, the Woodstock detachment said Steven Kooistra was last seen on Sept. 21, at approximately 10:00 a.m., in Waterville.
“He was reported missing to police the next day when his vehicle, a 2013 silver Toyota Yaris with licence plate number JZJ 750, was found abandoned near Route 130 in Waterville, which investigators believe may be connected to his disappearance.”
The RCMP have followed up on several leads to try to locate him but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his well-being.
Steven Kooistra is described as being approximately six feet one inch (186 cm) tall and weighing approximately 170 lbs. (77 kg). He has blue eyes and white hair. A clothing description is not available at this time.
