RCMP ask public to stay away from Mapledale area
In a social media post shortly after 5 p.m., the Western Valley RCMP notified residents that officers were currently on the scene of a police operation in Mapledale, near Wotstak (Woodstock First Nation). The post asked people to stay away from the Hodgdon Road between Bedell Settlement Road and Teed Road.
“Please avoid the area and allow police to work,” the post said. “We will provide more information when we are able to.”
