65-year-old missing since Monday, Sept. 21
The Western Valley RCMP is releasing a new photo of a missing Waterville man to improve efforts to find the senior.
Steven Kooistra’s photo was taken from a Hartland business’s security camera on Sept. 17 at approximately 4:52 p.m.
He was seen wearing a blue quarter-zip sweater, black pants, glasses and a beret.
Police are actively investigating and following up on information related to his whereabouts. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Western Valley Region RCMP at 506-325-3000.
The Western Valley RCMP is asking the public for help locating a missing 65-year-old man from the community of Waterville.
“He was reported missing to police the next day when his vehicle, a 2013 silver Toyota Yaris with licence plate number JZJ 750, was found abandoned near Route 130 in Waterville, which investigators believe may be connected to his disappearance.”
The RCMP have followed up on several leads to try to locate him but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his well-being.
