Thieves steal fuel and tools from a school storage shed

The Perth-Andover RCMP detachment is asking for the public’s help as it investigates a recent break-and-enter and theft in the community.

The police released surveillance footage photos in an effort to identify a pair of individuals involved in the break-in of storage facilities at a Nissen Street school at approximately 11:30 p.m., Oct. 6.

The thieves stole fuel and various tools.

Police describe the first individual as a man with a medium build, wearing a black zip-up sweater, blue jeans, black and white sneakers, and a red bandana over his face.

They described the second person as a man with a medium build, wearing a black and grey hooded sweatshirt, dark blue pants, black sneakers, and black gloves.

Police described the vehicle as a red car, potentially a 2010 to 2012 Chevrolet Malibu. The car had a black rear bumper and a large dent in the driver’s side quarter panel.

Police ask anyone who recognizes the individuals or the vehicle in the photos or who has information that may help further the investigation to contact the Perth-Andover RCMP at 506-273-5000.
