Richmond Corner man killed in ATV crash

A 56-year-old man from Richmond Corner has died following a single all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash in Mapledale.

On June Tuesday, June 23, at approximately 10:17 p.m., members of the Western Valley Region RCMP responded to a report of an ATV crash near Cosman Road in Mapledale.

The crash is believed to have occurred when the ATV collided with a fallen tree. The driver, a 56-year-old man, died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The passenger was treated at the scene for what were believed to be minor injuries.

Members of the Debec Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick also attended the scene.

A New Brunswick RCMP collision reconstructionist is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
