Scooter driver injured after accident in downtown Woodstock

Driver transported to URVH following crash

The Woodstock Police Force is investigating a scooter accident in downtown Woodstock.

On Thursday, July 10, at approximately 4:15 p.m., the Woodstock Police Force was on the scene of an accident at the intersection of King and Main Streets.

The collision involved a 50-cc scooter and a vehicle. Sgt. Seth Cahill said they are still waiting for a statement from the scooter driver to determine the cause. The Woodstock Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick were also on scene.

The scooter driver was taken to the Upper River Valley Hospital with undetermined injuries.

A further statement will be released once more information is obtained.
