The Woodstock Rotary Club will hold its annual Dance and Draw fundraiser on April 6 at the AYR Motor Centre. Since the eclipse occurs on April 8, our Sun-Sational Soiree will have a celestial theme.
Like last year, the event will start with a local wine, beer, and spirit-tasting session at 7 p.m. During this time, attendees can sample the vendors’ various drink products while they mingle and listen to the local band The Other Guys.

After the drink sampling session, Moncton’s “Big Bad Party Band” will perform for those who like to dance and party. This lively band plays all over the Maritimes, featuring new songs and many older classic dance tunes.
The $150 ticket represents amazing value for the attendees since each ticket admits two people, gives you drink sampling tickets, finger food will be provided, great entertainment all night, and a chance to win $19,000 in cash prizes.
The cash prize breakdown will be as follows:
1st ticket – $500
150th ticket – $500
300th ticket – $500
450th ticket – $500
2nd last ticket – $1,000
Grand Prize Winner – $15,000
All tickets sold and paid for by March 20 will also be entered for an early bird draw for $1,000.

Decorations again this year will be by Sydney’s All Occasion Rentals and food donations by McCain Foods.
The Rotary Club is also happy to welcome back Theresa Blackburn from the River Valley Sun, who will host the live-streamed portions of our evening.
