Concert fundraiser to raise money for food bank and music program
On Saturday, Sept. 13, Celtic Tenor John McDermott and his band will perform at the Andover Elementary School at 7:30 p.m. The Perth-Andover Rotary Club is sponsoring the concert. All funds raised will go to the Making a Difference Food Bank, and Grace Notes Music Academy.
McDermott spoke with the River Valley Sun’s Theresa Blackburn about his career, his Perth-Andover connection that resulted in a lasting friendship, and his plans for a 2026 tour to promote his new album, Scrapbook.
