Retired Woodstock lawyer says Town of Woodstock banner policy unconstitutional
Stuart Kinney is a retired Woodstock lawyer. He addressed the crowd at Citizen’s Square Park in Woodstock on Friday, May 17. The event, organized by The Rainbow Crosswalk organization, was held to commemorate the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia. Kinney directly addressed the Woodstock Town Council and their decision to remove inclusive Pride banners from downtown lamp posts – a move he says is unconstitutional. Here is his address:
