Woman killed in Beechwood accident

Vehicle-pedestrian crash claims life of 46-year-old
A 46-year-old woman has died following a single-vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in Beechwood, N.B, north of Bath.

In a media release, Monday, Oct. 3, the RCMP Western Valley Region Detachment reported officers responded shortly after 6 p.m., Sept. 30, to a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Route 105 in Beechwood.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle were uninjured. The pedestrian died at the scene as a result of her injuries.
The Bath Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick also attended the scene.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist and a member of the New Brunswick Coroner’s office are assisting with the ongoing investigation. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the woman’s exact cause of death.
