Six young Nackawic-Millville women hope to don the crown as Miss Nackawic 2023.
The pageant, set for Aug. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Nackawic Arena, will help launch Festival on the Bend activities in the Big Axe community.
Organizers said Miss Nackawic 2022 Charisma Farrell, recently crowned as Miss New Brunswick 2023 First Princess, would attend to crown her successor.
Miss New Brunswick Second Princess and Miss Congeniality Lucy Palmer of Chipman will accompany her.
Miss Nackawic 2023 contestants are:
Abbigayle Cullings, the 16-year-old daughter of Chelsea and Lucas Cullins of Millville.
Arianna Farrell, the 17-year-old daughter of Ryan and Maridel Farrell of Nackawic.
Gracie Myshrall, the 17-year-old daughter of Kim and Jason Myshrall of Nackawic
Faith Shaw, the 17-year-old daughter of Jennifer Lynn Legacy-Shaw of Hawkins Corner.
Emma Spavold, the 17-year-old daughter of Natasha and Gary Spavold of Temperance Vale.
Charlotte Wilcox, the 17-year-old daughter of Crystal Conrad and Brent Wilcox of Nackawic.
