Fun-filled weekend of entertainment, good eats, and fun for all ages

MLA Richard Ames will be involved with the fun, serving up hot dogs. Additionally, the Women’s Institute will be hosting bingo and a silent auction at the Debec WI Hall on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.

On Saturday, a homestyle breakfast will be served at Debec Trinity United Church from 7 to 10 a.m., hosted by the Sunday school. The annual parade begins at 11 a.m. at the Debec Community School, concluding at the Community Park, where events will continue throughout the day.

“Our programming is thinking about all age groups; there is something for everyone,” said Carson. “Most of the seniors in the village have been part of Debec Days in the past. I want to carry on their legacy.”

Carson. noted that the Debec Recreation Council is still looking for volunteers for Debec Days and future events. If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to the Debec Rec Council on Facebook or contact one of their board members.
