King of Rock and Roll tribute artist to play McCain Theatre in Woodstock

Years after his passing, Elvis Presley remains one of most iconic entertainers. Worldwide, young and old alike love him to this day.

Known as the King of Rock and Roll, Presley also made a huge splash with his Gospel music. It was said to be his favourite type of music to sing, and he regularly sang it all hours of the morning after his Vegas shows.

On Saturday, Sept. 14, legendary two-time World Champion Elvis tribute artist Thane Dunn will bring his new Elvis Rock and Gospel show to the McCain Community Theatre in Woodstock.

Dunn and his Cadillac Kings will perform Elvis Presley’s timeless classics, from “Don’t Be Cruel” to “Suspicious Minds,” as well as Gospel music from “How Great Thou Art,” “Peace in the Valley,” “I Believe,” and many more.

Dunn has the complete Elvis package: his looks, an ‘Elvis-like’ voice, moves, and on-stage presence. He also shares Elvis’ off-the-wall Presley sense of humour and is a fan favourite even among die-hard Elvis fans.

Dunn’s wife, Nashville recording artist Melly Dunn, will co-headline this concert. She’ll perform the legendary hits of Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, and more, as well as standard Gospel hits many know and love.

Melly has received countless standing ovations from Nashville to Newfoundland. She wows crowds with her uncanny ability to sound like any country artist, past and present. She recently returned from a sold-out tour in Arizona, and her last three Casino New Brunswick shows have sold out. See what all the fuss is about.

Reserved seating for the Sept. 14 show at the McCain Theatre in Woodstock is available at www.thanedunn.com.
