RCMP investigating but consider death as ‘not suspicious’
The RCMP are investigating the discovery of a body along Route 165 in Riceville, near south of Woodstock, on Sunday afternoon, April 14.
Sgt. Dan Sharpe of the Western Valley RCMP confirmed the discovery, saying police were notified early Sunday afternoon.
He said police are investigating but described the death as “not suspicious.”
Sharpe said the body was discovered along with an abandoned truck, noting the body was not inside the truck.
He said police are not releasing any further information at this time.
