The Municipality of Lakeland Ridges invited Carleton-York candidates to speak at a public meeting at the Meductic Community Centre on Wednesday, Oct. 9. The only candidates to accept their invitation were PANB candidate Sterling Wright (who suggested the event) and Liberal Chris Duffie. Missing from the evening was PC candidate and incumbent Richard Ames and Green candidate Burt Folkins.
