Investigators seeking witnesses, dash cams and surveillance videos

The Woodstock Police Force is seeking information in its investigation of an attempted armed break-in on Monday, June 10.

In a release issued early June 11, the WPF said members responded at approximately 5:15 p.m. on Monday to a reported break-in in progress on Division Street.

Police said the initial investigation determined that at least three masked males, brandishing weapons, attempted to gain entry to a residence.

Police added they had reports of someone seeing a newer model black Honda Civic fleeing the area.

The WPF said investigators are actively seeking dashcam footage, video surveillance, or persons who may have witnessed this incident.

“This incident is believed to be targeted, and there is no active threat to the public,” the WPF said in its release.

Police ask anyone with information to contact the Woodstock Police at 506-325-4601 or Crimestoppers at 1-866-222-TIPS or online at www.crimenb.ca
