‘Team Without a League’ to be inducted
This weekend, the Woodstock Sports Wall of Fame will celebrate “The Team Without a League,” alongside a longtime community-minded athlete and a voice of the valley.
The 1960-61 Woodstock Legionaires hockey team and well-rounded local athlete Randy Johnston will be inducted into the Wall of Fame on Saturday afternoon, May 9.
The Woodstock Sports Wall of Fame will also present the Community Spirit Award posthumously to Dave Wilson in recognition of his volunteerism and general fandom.
The 2026 induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 9, at 2 p.m. in the Rotary Room (Studio 2) on the lower level of the AYR Motor Centre.
