Lumberjack and track and field stars to be honoured along with local ‘super fan‘

The Woodstock Sports Wall of Fame will mark its 30th anniversary this weekend, honouring two local athletes and a “Super Fan.”
Three decades after the first inductions to the Woodstock Sports Wall of Fame in 1995, the celebration of local sport continues at the AYR Motor Centre in Woodstock.
Lumberjack competitor Marc Desrosiers and Masters track and field athlete Ross Belyea will be inducted into the Wall of Fame on Saturday afternoon, May 10.
The Woodstock Sports Wall of Fame is also introducing a new category this spring: recognition of community spirit through volunteerism and general fandom.
And who better for the first recipient than the fan of all fans – Woodstock’s “Super Fan” Anne Demerchant.
The 2025 induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 10, at 2 p.m. in the Rotary Room (Studio 2) on the lower level of the AYR Motor Centre.
