Woodstock Provincial Court: Jacksonvile men charged with drug trafficking back in court March 10

Trafficking and gun charges

Samuel Robert Crewe, 31, and Timothy Brian Wheelan, 39, both of Jacksonville, appeared in provincial court in custody on March 3 to deal with charges laid by local police. All matters were adjourned until March 10 at 9:30 a.m.

The RCMP charged the two accused with possession of methamphetamine, ecstasy, cocaine and fentanyl, all for the purpose of trafficking in connection with incidents between June 1 and June 13, 2025, in Jacksonville. Crewe pleaded not guilty, but his trial date has not been set.

Crewe also has 13 gun charges related to the same incident in June 2025. He pleaded not guilty, and trial dates were set for Sept. 16, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. and Nov. 13, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.

Wheelan is also awaiting plea on 42 related gun charges laid by Woodstock Police. He was denied bail on Nov. 20, 2025. He was also charged by the RCMP with breach of a peace bond, possession of a stolen utility trailer, resisting arrest, dangerous driving, and flight from police on Nov. 17, 2025, in Meductic. He is also facing four threat charges.

Crewe was sentenced to three years in federal prison, minus time served, when he appeared in provincial court in custody via video on Jan. 26. He pleaded guilty to a raft of drug and theft charges, as well as driving offences, laid by Woodstock Police and the RCMP.  He had a prior criminal record.

Sentencing on fraud charges  

Sherry Lynn Williams, 61, of Woodstock, appeared in provincial court on March 3 and pleaded guilty to three fraud charges laid by Woodstock Police. Her sentencing was set for June 2 at 1:30 p.m.

Williams was charged with three counts of theft and three counts of fraud stemming from three separate incidents in Woodstock between Feb. 19, 2019, and June 7, 2019; between March 6, 2019, and April 22, 2019; and between Jan. 13, 2017, and June 5, 2019.

She pleaded guilty to two counts of fraud under $5,000 and one count of fraud over $5,000. The three theft charges were withdrawn by the Crown. The victims were special needs adults, all female clients with the Community Residential Living Board.

Arrested on multiple charges

Brandon Travis Hamilton, 36, of Woodstock, appeared in provincial court in custody on Feb. 25 and was released with conditions. On March 3, he appeared in provincial court to answer theft and gun charges and allegations of dangerous driving. All matters were adjourned for plea until March 24 at 9:30 a.m.

Hamilton was charged with possession of two stolen snowmobiles, dangerous driving, fleeing police, driving while suspended, possession of a firearm while prohibited from having it, careless use of a firearm, possession of a firearm without a licence, and being an occupant of a vehicle knowing it carried a firearm, in connection with an incident on Feb. 24 in Florenceville-Bristol.

Hamilton also appeared in provincial court in custody via video for a bail hearing on Jan. 19 and was released with conditions. He was arrested on a warrant after he failed to appear in provincial court on Dec. 30, 2025. Hamilton was charged by Woodstock Police with possession of a stolen vehicle and two counts of driving while suspended on June 9, 2025, in Woodstock.

Guilty plea to firearm offence

Henrik Klassen, 30, of Fielding, appeared in provincial court on March 3 and pleaded guilty to a firearm charge. He returns to court for sentencing on June 2 at 1:30 p.m.

Klassen was charged by the RCMP with careless use of a firearm concerning an incident on Oct. 9, 2025, in Fielding.

In custody awaiting sentence

Justin Jones, 24, of Beechwood, appeared for trial in provincial court in custody on March 2 and changed his plea to guilty on four charges laid by the RCMP. He returns to court in custody for sentencing on April 16 at 1:30 p.m.

Jones pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman with a wooden stick on Feb. 5, 2025, in Piercemont, and guilty to possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace (a shotgun), uttering threats and breaching a no-contact order on July 9, 2025, in Beechwood. Three other charges were withdrawn by the Crown. He was arrested on a warrant and denied bail on July 24, 2025. The charges were laid following a six-hour standoff with police.

Sentencing for theft

Harvey Briand, 27, of Zealand, appeared in provincial court in custody by video on Feb. 26 and pleaded guilty to a theft charge laid by the RCMP.

Briand was charged with stealing gas for an incident on Feb. 21, 2025, in Cloverdale. He was arrested on a warrant in Fredericton and released with conditions until his sentencing on March 20 at 1:30 p.m.

Beaconsfield man charged

Marshall Turner, 25, of Beaconsfield, appeared in provincial court on March 3 to enter a plea to a breach charge laid by the RCMP. The matter was adjourned until March 24 at 9:30 a.m. to allow him more time to secure legal counsel.

Turner appeared in provincial court in custody via video on Feb. 19 for a bail hearing and was released with conditions. He must report to the RCMP every 48 hours as part of his release.

Turner was charged with breaching his release order (ankle bracelet) on Feb. 16 in Wilmot. At an earlier court appearance, he was charged by the RCMP with driving while prohibited on Oct. 29, 2025, at Lakeville; possession of a stolen utility trailer, driving while prohibited and breaking into a barn on Nov. 17, 2025, at Meductic. He will enter a plea to those charges on March 24 at 9:30 a.m.

Arrested on a warrant

Henry Douglas Oakes, 54, of Fredericton, formerly of Greenfield, appeared in provincial court in custody via teleconference on March 2 after being arrested on a warrant for failing to appear for trial in January. He was remanded to jail to await a bail hearing on March 6 at 9:30 a.m.

Oakes pleaded not guilty to charges laid by Woodstock Police and RCMP. He appeared in provincial court in custody on Feb. 4, 2025, and was released with conditions.

He was charged by Woodstock Police with impaired driving on Aug. 6, 2024, and theft from the Superstore on July 12, 2024, in Woodstock. He was also charged by the RCMP with breach of an undertaking on May 15, 2024, at Florenceville-Bristol.

Suspended sentence, probation

Megan Shaw, 36, of Wotstak (Woodstock First Nation), appeared for sentencing in provincial court on Feb. 27 after pleading guilty to a mischief charge. She received a suspended sentence and 12 months of probation.

Shaw was charged by the RCMP with mischief, causing property damage to a windshield (using a rock) on Aug. 20, 2025, at Wotstak. She agreed to sign a 12-month peace bond on a charge of breaching a no-contact order on Oct. 4, 2025, at Wotstak.

Arrested and released

Gunner Gray, 24, of Upper Kintore, appeared in provincial court in custody via teleconference on March 3 after being arrested on several charges laid by the RCMP. He was released on conditions, including the requirement to wear an ankle electronic monitoring device.

Gray returns to court for plea on March 24 at 9:30 a.m. He was charged with breaching a no-contact order between Feb. 11 and Feb. 27 in Jacksonville and Bath, flight from police, and driving while suspended on Feb. 11 in Jacksonville.

Gray is also scheduled for trial in provincial court on March 18, 2027, at 9:30 a.m. after pleading not guilty to other charges laid by the RCMP.

Gray was charged with uttering threats, resisting arrest, fleeing police and four violations of the Motor Vehicle Act for incidents on Feb. 25, April 8 and July 22, 2025. The court heard the crown will be seeking jail time on the charges.

Facing sex charge

Henry Bloodsworth, 59, of Beechwood, will appear in provincial court on March 25 at 9:30 a.m. to enter a plea on a sex charge laid by the RCMP.

Bloodsworth was charged with sexual assault in connection with an incident on Nov. 15, 2025, at Upper Kent. He was scheduled to enter a plea on March 3 when the matter was adjourned at the request of his defence counsel. The court heard that a resolution is being sought with the Crown.

In custody awaiting plea

Nicholas Hamilton, 31, of Richmond Corner, appeared in provincial court in custody via video on March 3 to answer charges laid by the RCMP. The matter was adjourned for plea until March 25 at 9:30 a.m.

Hamilton was denied bail on Jan. 15. He was charged by the RCMP with flight from police, dangerous driving, possession of a firearm while prohibited from having it, possession of a firearm without a licence (a shotgun and rifle), transporting firearms in a careless manner, and being an occupant of a vehicle knowing it carried a firearm. The charges were laid following a police chase on Jan. 13 in Lindsay when a spike belt was used to stop a speeding half-ton truck.

Sentence pending on two charges

Clay Hargrove, 30, of Beechwood, appeared in provincial court in custody via video on March 2 to answer two charges laid by the RCMP. The matter was adjourned until March 18 at 9:30 a.m. at the request of Defence Counsel Alex Pate.

Hargrove appeared in court on Jan. 19 after being arrested on a warrant and waived his bail until later.

He pleaded guilty to assault causing bodily harm to another man and possession of a stolen ATV for an incident on Aug. 27, 2024, at Upper Kent, but failed to return for sentencing. He also faces charges of resisting arrest and identity fraud.

On Jan. 13, Hargrove was charged with failing to appear in court and with a probation violation on Jan. 8. His sentencing will be addressed after his plea on the newer charges.

Returning for plea

Jesse Andre, 38, of East Brighton, will appear in provincial court on March 18 at 9:30 a.m. for plea on five charges laid by the RCMP.

Andre was charged with aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm, mischief, dangerous driving and one violation under the Motor Vehicle Act following an incident on Dec. 2, 2025, at East Brighton. He was scheduled to enter a plea on March 2 when the matter was adjourned at the request of his defence counsel. A warrant will be held on file until his next court date.

Sentencing in April

Lisa Marie Barrett, 49, of Woodstock, will appear for sentencing in provincial court on April 1 at 1:30 p.m. after changing her plea to guilty on two charges laid by the RCMP. Her sentencing was set for March 3 but was adjourned to allow completion of a victim impact statement.

Barrett was charged with uttering threats and obstructing the course of justice for an incident on Aug. 24, 2024, at Wicklow. She was released on an undertaking.

She will also appear for trial in provincial court on June 3 at 1:30 p.m. after pleading not guilty to an assault charge laid by Woodstock Police.

Barrett was charged with assault involving a male victim in connection with an incident on Aug. 4, 2024, at Woodstock. A monitoring date for her trial was scheduled for April 7 at 9:30 a.m.

Plaster Rock man to be sentenced

Phillip Campbell, 23, of Plaster Rock, will appear in provincial court for sentencing on March 5 at 9:30 a.m. after changing his plea to guilty on two charges laid by the RCMP. His sentencing was set for March 3, but was adjourned to allow completion of a victim impact statement.

Campbell was charged with breach of an undertaking and assault involving a female victim in connection with an incident on Oct. 6, 2024, at Perth-Andover.

Refusing a breathalyzer

Lindsay Harris, 22, of Waterville, appeared in provincial court on March 3 for a monitoring hearing regarding her June trial. The court heard she was still without legal counsel, so another monitoring hearing was set for March 24 at 9:30 a.m.

Harris pleaded not guilty to a breathalyzer charge laid by Woodstock Police, and her trial was booked for June 19 at 1:30 p.m. She was charged with refusing a breathalyzer in connection with an incident on Dec. 29, 2024, in Lower Woodstock.

Trial on threat charge

Tammy Lloyd, 49, of Plaster Rock, appeared in provincial court on March 3 for a monitoring hearing regarding her June trial on a threat charge. She told the court she was still without legal counsel. Another monitoring hearing was booked for April 7 at 9:30 a.m. to confirm she will have a lawyer to proceed to trial.

Lloyd was charged with uttering threats against another woman concerning an incident on Feb. 21, 2025, at Upper Kent. She pleaded not guilty, and her trial was scheduled for June 25 at 1:30 p.m.

Arrest warrant issued

The court issued an arrest warrant for Miguel Downer of Perth-Andover after he failed to appear in provincial court on March 3 for a monitoring hearing related to his June trial.

Downer is scheduled to appear for trial on June 19 at 9:30 a.m., after pleading not guilty to one charge laid by the RCMP. He was charged with possession of a stolen motorcycle on Aug. 7, 2024, in Wilmot. He appeared in court in custody via teleconference and was released with conditions.

Neqotkuk man to stand trial

Ringo Sacobie, 58, of Neqotkuk (Tobique First Nation), appeared in provincial court on March 3 and pleaded not guilty to breaching his release order. His trial date was set for Oct. 26 at 9:30 a.m.

Sacobie appeared in provincial court in custody via video for a bail hearing on Dec. 8, 2025, and was released with conditions. He was arrested by the RCMP on a charge of breaching his release order on Dec. 6, 2025, at Neqotkuk.

He also pleaded not guilty to three other charges laid by the RCMP, and his trial date was set for Oct. 26 at 9:30 a.m.

Sacobie was charged with uttering threats, assault and unlawful confinement concerning an incident between Sept. 14 and Sept. 30, 2025, at Perth-Andover. He was arrested, held for a bail hearing, and then released on conditions.

Returning for plea

Josiah McKinnon, 25, of Victoria Corner, will appear in provincial court on March 17 at 9:30 a.m. for plea on an assault charge laid by the RCMP.

McKinnon was charged with assault by choking involving a female victim in connection with an incident on Dec. 20, 2025, at Victoria Corner. He was scheduled to enter a plea on March 3, but the matter was adjourned at his lawyer’s request.

Plea adjourned

Mitchell McKenzie, 39, of Wotstak (Woodstock First Nation), appeared in provincial court on March 3 for plea on two charges laid by the RCMP. The matter was adjourned until March 24 at 9:30 a.m. at the request of his defence counsel.

McKenzie appeared in provincial court in custody via video on Feb. 12 for a bail hearing and was released with conditions.

He was charged by the RCMP with uttering threats and breach of probation concerning an incident on Feb. 7 at Wotstak. As part of his release, he was ordered to report weekly to the police and to have no contact with the complainant.

Three return to court March 9

Three individuals have been charged in connection with a string of thefts in the Woodstock area and will return to court for plea on March 9.

Michael Ronald McKee, 25, of Woodstock, appeared in court in custody via video on Feb. 26 and told the court he intended to plead guilty to all charges. The matter was adjourned until March 9 at 9:30 a.m. for a monitoring hearing, after McKee requested that his file be transferred to Fredericton, where he is facing other charges.

McKee and Bastian Kitchener Bradbury, 19, of Fredericton, were each charged with breaking into a woodworking shop on Searle Street in Woodstock, possession of stolen tools, possession of a stolen vehicle (a Mazda CX5), possession of break-in tools, and prowling at night on Nov. 24, 2025.  Bradbury also faces a charge of wearing a mask while committing an offence.

McKee waived his bail until later. He was also charged with possession of a stolen vehicle for an incident on Nov. 5, 2025, at Bedell.

Both men were also charged with theft of copper wire on Nov. 24, 2025, from the back of a truck at Wotstak (Woodstock First Nation). The court heard the two are also facing other charges in Fredericton.

Bradbury appeared in provincial court in custody via video on Feb. 5 for a bail hearing. He was released with conditions to a rehab facility near Sussex. On March 3, he appeared in provincial court via teleconference and requested that all of his files be transferred to Fredericton. A new theft charge was also laid in connection with an incident on Nov. 24, 2025, at the Petro Canada near Meductic.

Madison Anderson, 20, of Fredericton, formerly of Plaster Rock, was charged with two counts of theft on Nov. 24, 2025, at the Petro Canada near Meductic. She is also charged in connection with a copper wire theft at Wotstak (Woodstock First Nation) on the same date. She returns to court for plea on March 9 at 9:30 a.m.

In custody in federal prison

Jonathon Daniel Stockford, 36, of Hartland, will appear in provincial court in custody via video from federal prison on March 23 at 9:30 a.m. to answer a theft charge laid by Woodstock Police. The matter was scheduled for a plea on March 2, but was adjourned at his lawyer’s request.

Stockford was charged with theft from Brennan’s Home Hardware Store in Woodstock on July 7, 2025. The court heard he was recently sentenced to four years in prison on other charges in Fredericton.

He also appeared in provincial court in custody via video on Jan. 5 and pleaded not guilty to a charge of possession of stolen property. His trial was booked for July 13 at 9:30 a.m.

Stockford was charged by the RCMP with possession of a stolen side-by-side for an incident on July 20, 2025, at Waterville.

He will also appear for trial in provincial court in custody on March 23 at 9:30 a.m. after pleading not guilty to other charges laid by the RCMP.  Stockford was charged with breaching his release order following an incident on Feb. 18, 2025, at Bedell, as well as with dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, driving while suspended, and breach of probation stemming from another incident on Aug. 21, 2024, in Woodstock.

Stolen property allegation

Brandon Schriver, 24, of Beaconsfield, will appear in provincial court on March 24 at 9:30 a.m. to answer two charges laid by the RCMP. The matter was scheduled for plea on March 3 but was adjourned to the new date.

Schriver was charged with possession of ammunition while prohibited from having it, and possession of a stolen utility trailer following an incident on Nov. 17, 2025, at Meductic. He has a prior criminal record.

He appeared in provincial court in custody via teleconference on Nov. 18, 2025, and was released on conditions, including wearing an ankle electronic monitoring device.

Facing sex charges

David Hayden, 73, of Tracey Mills, will appear for trial on March 18-19 at 9:30 a.m. after pleading not guilty to two sex charges. A pre-trial conference was held on March 3, when the court heard that a resolution is being sought with the Crown.

Hayden was charged by the RCMP with sexual assault and solicitation of a minor for sexual services concerning an incident on Sept. 12, 2023, at Florenceville-Bristol.

Sentencing in May

Ryan Fitzherbert, 30, of Woodstock, appeared for trial in provincial court on Feb. 26 and changed his plea to guilty on one charge laid by the RCMP.

Fitzherbert was charged with possession of a stolen truck on Oct. 23, 2024, in Pembroke. He pleaded guilty to the lesser offence of taking a vehicle without consent, and his sentencing was set for May 19 at 1:30 p.m.

Mental health assessment

Daniel Ralph Arch, 50, of Northern Arm, Newfoundland, will appear in provincial court via teleconference on March 18 at 9:30 a.m. for a fitness hearing.

Arch was charged with dangerous driving causing bodily harm following an accident on March 27, 2024, at Dorrington Hill near Canterbury. He pleaded not guilty, but his trial was postponed to June 22 to allow the accused to complete a mental health assessment.

Plea adjourned

Daljit Singh, 26, of Woodstock, will appear in provincial court on March 12 at 1:30 p.m. for plea on three charges laid by Woodstock Police.

Singh was charged with refusing a breathalyzer, dangerous driving, and driving without insurance following an incident in Woodstock on March 29, 2025. He was scheduled to answer the charges on Feb. 26, but the matter was adjourned to the new date at his lawyer’s request. The court heard that a resolution is being sought with the Crown.
