The Town of Woodstock will host military personnel from the Tactics School at CFB Gagetown on Thursday, July 30, to complete a training exercise held on Red Bridge Road, according to a social media post.
“The training involves a planning exercise as part of the Infantry Dismounted Company Commander Course. There will be approximately 25 military members in the area from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.,” the post stated.
Soldiers will be in uniform but will not use heavy equipment or weapons. The training exercise won’t impact through traffic in the area, but drivers are urged to drive with extra caution.
“Thank you for your understanding as Woodstock supports our military community,” the post stated.
