If you are looking for some fabulous handcrafted quilts, beautiful handiwork and delicious home baking, you won’t want to miss the Debec Tuesday quilters fall fling underway today (Oct. 1) until 2 p.m. at the Trinity United Church Hall.
This is an annual event that brings the community together to celebrate the talents of the group who meet on Tuesdays to create their quilts and crafts. The fall display of their work was already attracting visitors by early morning.
Participants said they were excited to be able to host the open house after two years of COVID restrictions put their public event on hold. Admission is by donation. Tickets are being sold on a prize quilt. The draw will take place at the end of the show.
Members of the club include Anne Willton, Joan Anderson, Starr Peterson, Marlene Chase, Tammy Anderson, Debbie Ritchie, Janice Underhill, Annette McFarlane, Sharon Kennedy, Brenda Grant, Pat Fisher, Pam Davies, Colleen Major, Lynn Dirusso and Tina Corey.
