Woodstock duo hope fan votes will put them on top on May 13
Brothers Macauley and Micah Martin from Woodstock are headed to Canada’s Got Talent season four finals.
The program is a Canadian talent show on Citytv competition with a $1 million prize.
“It feels really, really surreal, honestly. We never would have expected that when we first auditioned that we’d be making the semi-finals, as well as the finals, so we’re really excited and pumped,” said Macauley.
While waiting for the results, Micah said the anticipation was locking him in time.

“Oh my word, that was like the longest ten seconds of our lives, it felt like we were up there for 30 minutes,” said Micah.
The deep music with long bass drops had the two wondering if they would ever hear the results. But when “The Martin Boys” was announced, an instant surge of relief hit them.

“We gave each other a big hug. We were just so overwhelmed; it was crazy; it was one of the coolest experiences ever,’ said Micah.
As part of their semi-finals performance, on Tuesday, May 6, the Martin Boys performed their new song, “Gotta Be Country,” released on the day of the semi-finals. The song has received positive feedback from the audience and judges.
It was the first time the duo performed the song live. Macauley says the two were nervous yet excited to play it. The song has received positive feedback from the audience and judges.
The Martin Boys will be performing another new original song for the finals. The brothers will play the title track of their new upcoming EP, “Burn the Boats,” which will be released the day of the finals, May 13, and will feature five brand new songs.
For Canada’s Got Talent final, votes decide the winner, and Macauley and Micah hope their fans will take the time to vote for them.
The two-hour-long finale airs Tuesday, May 13 at 9 p.m. AST on Citytv and Citytv+.
