Woodstock Provincial Court: Man to be sentenced for sharing intimate images online

Oakland man awaits sentencing

Grant Rediker, 43, of Oakland, will appear in provincial court in custody on May 27 at 1:30 p.m. after changing his plea to guilty on a series of charges laid by the RCMP.

Rediker pleaded guilty to threatening to put explicit images online, breaching a no-contact order, criminal harassment and distributing intimate images without consent for incidents involving a female victim on Jan. 21 and Jan. 26 at Florenceville-Bristol.

He also pleaded guilty to assault with a weapon (a vehicle), possession of a firearm without a licence, break and enter at a garage, and illegal possession of methamphetamine for another incident on March 12, 2025, in Oakland. Four other charges were withdrawn by the Crown.

Rediker appeared in court via video in custody for a bail hearing on Feb. 5 and had his bail waived until later. He has been in custody since his January arrest.

Sentencing set on nine charges

Shane Lee Dickison, 38, of Hodgdon Road, will appear for sentencing in provincial court on May 27 at 9:30 a.m. after pleading guilty to nine charges laid by the RCMP.

He pleaded guilty to breach of probation, assaulting another man, two counts of uttering threats, mischief causing property damage to a vehicle, and resisting arrest on Feb. 4 at Mapledale; and guilty to uttering threats between Feb. 1 and Feb. 2 at Mapledale. A peace bond request was later filed by two complainants.  A police operation in the Mapledale area on the evening of Feb. 4 led to Dickison’s arrest.

On April 21, he also pleaded guilty to breaching probation and assaulting another man on July 27, 2025, in Woodstock.

Dickison appeared in provincial court in custody on March 6 for a bail hearing after being remanded for a 30-day mental health assessment at the Restigouche hospital. He was found fit to stand trial and was released to a rehab facility in Moncton.

Sentencing on two charges

Marc Morin, 25, of Aroostook, will appear for sentencing in provincial court on May 27 at 1:30 p.m. after changing his plea to guilty on two charges laid by the RCMP.

He pleaded guilty to breaching his curfew on Dec. 3, 2024, and breaching his release order by failing to appear for trial on July 15, 2024.

Johnville man facing more jail time

Ryan Troy O’Donnell, 27, of Johnville, will appear in provincial court in custody via video on May 28 at 9:30 a.m. for a decision on his sentence on four property charges laid by the RCMP.

O’Donnell pleaded guilty to breaking into a government garage, theft of a government-owned half-ton truck, cement roller and utility trailer on June 2, 2025, in Glassville. Another charge of mischief, causing property damage to the building, was withdrawn by the Crown.

Crown Prosecutor Sean Corscadden recommended O’Donnell be sentenced to 30 months in jail, minus 237 days for time served, as well as two years of probation. The Crown lawyer said O’Donnell should also seek counselling and treatment for drug abuse.

Defence Counsel Alex Carleton asked that O’Donnell receive only 18 months in jail, minus time served. The accused had a lengthy prior criminal record.

Judge Rose Campbell reserved his decision until May 28.

Knoxford man to be sentenced

Jason Tribe, 41, of Knoxford, appeared for sentencing in provincial court on May 26 after pleading guilty to two charges laid by the RCMP. His sentencing was adjourned until June 1 at 1:30 p.m. to allow the Crown and defence counsel to prepare an agreed statement of facts.

Tribe appeared in provincial court in custody on May 1 and was released with conditions to await his sentencing. A sentence of time served is expected for the accused.

Tribe pleaded guilty to criminal harassment and breach of a no-contact order between Jan. 13 and Jan. 18 at Knoxford. The RCMP laid the charges. Another charge of uttering threats was withdrawn by the Crown.

He was denied bail when he appeared in provincial court via video in custody on Jan. 29. He was ordered to have no contact with the complainant during his release.

Fined $2,600 on breathalyzer

Kenneth Archie Greer, 59, of Bloomfield, appeared in provincial court on May 26 and pleaded guilty to a breathalyzer charge. He was fined $2,600 and was prohibited from driving for 18 months.

Greer was charged by Woodstock Police with refusing a breathalyzer demand on Nov. 29, 2025, in Woodstock. The court heard the charge was laid following a fender bender in the liquor store parking lot in Woodstock.

Assault with hot coffee

Morgan Disabto, 65, of Arthurette, received a suspended sentence and 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to an assault charge on May 26. He was also fined $100 and ordered to seek counselling for anger management.

Disabto was charged with assault with a weapon (hot coffee) for an incident on March 19, 2025, at Tim Hortons in Hartland. The court heard that he was a disgruntled customer who got into a verbal altercation with a female staff member who was serving him.

“I lost it,” Disabto said about throwing the coffee at her. He had no prior criminal record.

Change of plea

London Murchison, 20, of Plaster Rock, appeared for trial in provincial court on May 25 and changed his plea to guilty on two charges laid by the RCMP.

Murchison was charged with assault with a weapon (a knife) and possession of a prohibited weapon (a butterfly knife) concerning an incident on Sept. 2, 2024, at Plaster Rock.

He pleaded guilty to the lesser included offences of common assault and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.

A sentencing date for Murchison was set for Aug. 25 at 1:30 p.m. He was ordered to have no contact with the complainants.

Fredericton man remanded

Blake Evan Donald Wilson, 33, of Fredericton, appeared in provincial court in custody via video on May 25 to answer multiple charges laid by Woodstock Police. The matter was adjourned for plea until June 8 at 9:30 a.m.

Wilson was charged with break and entering at Canadian Tire, mischief causing property damage to a fence, and breach of a release order (no contact) on March 23 in Woodstock. He was also charged with fraudulent impersonation, resisting arrest, and breach of a release order (no contact) for another incident on March 22 in Woodstock. The court heard Wilson is also facing more charges in Fredericton. A resolution is being sought with the Crown.

Coldstream man facing sex charges

Donald Grant Ealey, 66, of Coldstream, will appear in provincial court on June 23 at 9:30 a.m. for plea on three sex charges laid by the RCMP.

Ealey was charged with sexual assault, touching for a sexual purpose, and engaging a minor in sexual activity in connection with incidents between May 1, 2025, and Feb. 2, 2026, at Howard Brook. He was scheduled to appear in court on May 26 when the matter was adjourned to the new date at the request of his defence counsel.

Trial dates moved up

Cameron James Clark, 25, of Mapledale, appeared in provincial court in custody via video on May 25 after being arrested for allegedly breaching his house arrest on April 21 in Mapledale. He pleaded not guilty, and his trial date was set for Aug. 12 at 9:30 a.m.

Clark also has other charges; his trial dates were rescheduled. He pleaded not guilty to breach of probation, resisting arrest, uttering threats, stalking a female victim, breaking into a dwelling house, assault with a weapon, assaulting another man, and mischief, causing property damage to a door on Sept. 17, 2025, at Mapledale. His trial date was moved up to Aug. 12 at 9:30 a.m.

He was also charged with stalking a female victim, dangerous driving and breach of probation on Sept. 19, 2025, in Mapledale; and breaching a release order on Oct. 21, 2025, in Woodstock. He was ordered to have no contact with the complainants. He pleaded not guilty, and his trial was moved up to Aug. 14 at 9:30 a.m.

Clark appeared in provincial court via video while in custody in November for a bail hearing after being arrested for breaching his release order (ankle bracelet). He was released with conditions, including house arrest and wearing another electronic monitoring device attached to his ankle, but returned to custody.

In custody on 11 charges

Mason Darren Bustard, 19, of Woodstock, appeared in provincial court in custody via video on May 26 after being arrested on 11 charges related to a police chase. He waived his bail until later and will return to court in custody for plea on June 15 at 1:30 p.m.

Bustard was charged with flight from police and mischief causing property damage to a lawn at Wotstak (Woodstock First Nation); breach of probation, possession of a stolen truck, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace (a knife), and breaching a release order in Woodstock; two counts of breaching his release order and mischief causing damage to his ankle bracelet in Bloomfield; and flight from police and theft of fuel in Florenceville-Bristol. All the incidents are alleged to have occurred on April 30.

He also appeared in provincial court on April 14 to answer three other charges laid by Woodstock Police. That matter was also adjourned for plea until June 15 at 1:30 p.m.

Bustard was charged with possession of stolen property, possession of break-in tools and breach of probation in connection with a rash of vehicle break-ins on April 7-8 in the Elizabeth Street, Creighton Street and Rose Court areas.

Arrested and released

Noah Saulis, 24, of Neqotkuk (Tobique First Nation), will appear in provincial court on June 16 at 9:30 a.m. for plea on three charges laid by the RCMP.

Saulis was charged with assault and two counts of breaching his release order on April 28. He was arrested and released on conditions following a bail hearing.

He also appeared in provincial court on Feb. 17 and pleaded not guilty to two other charges laid by the RCMP. His trial was set for March 19, 2027, at 9:30 a.m.

Saulis appeared in provincial court via teleconference in custody on Feb. 6 and was released with conditions. He was charged with breaching a no-contact order on Feb. 5 at Aroostook and assaulting a female victim on Dec. 13, 2025, at Aroostook. A monitoring hearing was also scheduled for June 23 at 1:30 p.m.

He will also appear for trial in provincial court on Dec. 21 at 9:30 a.m. after pleading not guilty to another assault charge laid by the RCMP. Saulis was charged with assaulting another man on June 20, 2025, in Perth-Andover.

Released until sentencing

Joshua Sterling Trail, 42, of Hartland, will appear for sentencing in provincial court on June 30 at 1:30 p.m. after changing his plea to guilty on two charges laid by Woodstock Police. He was released from custody with conditions to await his sentencing.

Trail pleaded guilty to unlawful entry at a dwelling house on Charlotte Street and committing mischief while on the property in connection with an incident between Sept. 6 and Sept. 7, 2024, in Woodstock. Several other charges were withdrawn by the Crown.

A co-accused, Dynielle Allison Demerchant, 28, of Woodstock, appeared in provincial court on May 26 for a monitoring hearing after pleading not guilty to similar charges related to the break-in on Charlotte Street. Her matter was adjourned until June 9 at 9:30 a.m. to allow time for a possible resolution with the Crown.

At an earlier court appearance, Demerchant also pleaded not guilty to possession of stolen property and to a probation violation stemming from a separate incident on Sept. 17, 2024, in Woodstock. Her trial will be held on July 23-24, at 9:30 a.m.

In custody awaiting trial

Curtis Brent Hatheway, 46, of Woodstock, appeared in provincial court in custody via video on May 26 and pleaded not guilty to charges laid by Woodstock Police. Trial dates were set for July 2 at 1:30 p.m. and Sept. 28 at 9:30 a.m.

Hatheway was denied bail on April 17.  He was charged with breaching a no-contact order involving a female victim and breach of probation on April 15 in Woodstock.

He was also charged with breaching a release order (no contact) involving a female victim for an incident on April 1 in Woodstock.

Hatheway was also charged with breaching a court order, assault, and uttering threats on March 17 and possession of a stolen bicycle on Oct. 3, 2025, in Woodstock.

Warrant on file

Joshua Sisson, 37, of Neqotkuk (Tobique First Nation), will appear in provincial court on June 16 at 9:30 a.m. to answer two charges laid by the RCMP.

Sisson was charged with breach of probation and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace. He failed to appear in court on May 26, and a warrant was placed on file until his next court date.

Verdict pending after trial

Gabriel Blake VanHorne, 25, of Hartley Settlement, appeared for trial in provincial court on May 22 after pleading not guilty to charges laid by the RCMP. The trial concluded. The verdict will be handed down on July 28 at 1:30 p.m.

VanHorne was charged by the RCMP with breaching a no-contact order, stemming from an incident between April 24 and May 5. He appeared in provincial court via video while in custody on May 20 for a bail hearing and was released with conditions.

He was also charged by the RCMP with assault involving a female victim, committing mischief and breach of an undertaking for an incident on April 19 at Hartley Settlement. One of the breach charges was withdrawn by the Crown. VanHorne had a dated prior criminal record.

Change of plea

Brandon Chappell, 28, of Plaster Rock, appeared for trial in provincial court on May 22 and entered a guilty plea to one charge laid by the RCMP. His sentencing was set for Aug. 18 at 1:30 p.m.

Chappell appeared in provincial court in January while in custody and was released on conditions. He was charged with pointing a firearm at another person, uttering threats, possession of several firearms without a licence, and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace in connection with an incident on June 15, 2024, at Plaster Rock.

He pleaded guilty to the threat charge, and the Crown withdrew the remaining charges.

Facing sex charges

Lyle Tibbets, 53, of Florenceville-Bristol, will appear in provincial court on June 16 at 9:30 a.m. for plea on sex charges laid by the RCMP.

Tibbets was charged with touching a minor for a sexual purpose and invitation to sexual touching between June 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024, at Mount Pleasant. He was also charged with sexual assault and touching a minor for a sexual purpose between June 30, 2024, and Nov. 7, 2025, at Mount Pleasant. He was scheduled for plea on May 26, but the matter was adjourned to allow him more time to consult legal counsel.

Charged with impaired

Larry Scott Grant, 58, of Charlie Lake, will appear for trial in provincial court on March 15, 2027, at 1:30 p.m. after pleading not guilty to charges laid by Woodstock Police.

Grant was charged with impaired driving, refusing a breathalyzer, and driving while prohibited concerning an incident on Nov. 30, 2025, in Woodstock. Defence Counsel Peter Crocco entered a not-guilty plea on his behalf on May 26.

Theft over $5,000

Trinity Robin Walkey, 21, of Grafton, will appear in provincial court on June 16 at 9:30 a.m. for plea on a theft charge laid by Woodstock Police.

Walkey was charged with indictable theft over $5,000 in connection with incidents that occurred between May 31, 2025, and July 18, 2025, at a store in Woodstock. She was scheduled to enter a plea on May 26 when the matter was adjourned to the new date at the request of her defence counsel.

Returning for plea

Dominique Smith, 28, of Woodstock, will appear in provincial court on June 16 at 9:30 a.m. for plea on one charge laid by Woodstock Police.

Smith was charged with obstructing police in connection with an incident on Jan. 30 in Woodstock. She was scheduled to enter a plea on May 26 when the matter was adjourned to the new date.

New trial date

Craig Laskey, 36, of Jacksonville, appeared in provincial court on May 26 to get a new trial date after pleading not guilty to three charges laid by the RCMP.

Laskey was charged with sexual assault for an incident on Aug. 14, 2024, in Jacksonville, and assault by choking and mischief on Aug. 21, 2024, in Bedell. His new trial date was set for Sept. 18 at 9:30 a.m. A pre-trial hearing will also be held on July 2 at 9:30 a.m.

In custody with four trial dates

Ryan James Smith, 37, of Woodstock, appeared in provincial court in custody via video on May 26 and pleaded not guilty to multiple charges laid by Woodstock Police.  

His trial dates were set for Aug. 17 at 9:30 a.m., Sept. 8 at 1:30 p.m., Sept. 14 at 9:30 a.m. and Sept. 18 at 1:30 p.m.

Smith was denied bail in April. He was charged with possession of a stolen credit card and breach of probation concerning an incident on April 14 in Woodstock; and breach of probation, unlawful entry at a dwelling house, and obstructing police on April 16 in Woodstock.

Smith was also charged with two counts of uttering threats, three counts of breach of probation, theft, and mischief, in connection with incidents on Oct. 20, 2025, and on Jan. 7 and Jan. 9 in Woodstock.

Arrested for missing trial

Brittany Priscilla King, 28, of Woodstock, will appear in provincial court in custody via video on May 27 at 1:30 p.m. to set a new trial date and enter a plea to a breach charge. She waived her bail until later.

King was charged by Woodstock Police with breaching her release order by failing to attend court on March 24. She was also charged with resisting arrest, assault with a weapon (a knife), and assault causing bodily harm to a male victim, concerning an incident on Nov. 5, 2023, in Woodstock. She pleaded not guilty and did not return for her trial.

Upper Kent pair charged with child abuse

Two individuals from Upper Kent will appear in provincial court in June to answer charges of child abuse laid by the RCMP.

Kathy Ruest-Sooley, 30, and Ricky Sooley, 65, both face eight charges, including unlawful abandonment, failing to provide the necessities of life, criminal negligence, assault, assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, administering a noxious substance and unlawful confinement. The charges were laid in connection with a series of incidents between Sept. 1, 2024 and Sept. 19, 2025.

Kathy Ruest-Sooley elected to have her trial in the Court of King’s Bench, and a date will be set on the next Motions Day in June. A monitoring date was set for June 23. Ricky Sooley will enter a plea on June 16 at 9:30 a.m.

Plea pending in June

Jill Smith, 37, of Fielding, will appear in provincial court on June 9 at 9:30 a.m. for plea on five charges laid by the RCMP. She was scheduled for plea on May 26, but the matter was adjourned to allow her more time to consult legal counsel.

Smith was charged with fraud over $5,000, forgery, identity theft, fraudulent impersonation, and possession of stolen mail between Jan. 1 and March 1, 2025, in Florenceville-Bristol. She is also facing more charges in Fredericton. Smith has a prior criminal record.

Judge and jury trial

Dominic (Dominique) Gagnon, 40, of Beechwood, appeared in provincial court on May 26 to answer charges laid by the RCMP.  The accused elected trial by judge and jury at the Court of King’s Bench, and a trial date will be set on Motions Day in July. A monitoring date was also set for July 28 at 9:30 a.m.

Gagnon was charged by the RCMP with committing public mischief, uttering threats and resisting arrest in connection with an incident on Feb. 17 at Stickney.

Gagnon appeared in provincial court in custody via video on March 19 for a fitness hearing after being remanded for a 30-day mental health assessment at the Restigouche hospital. The accused was found fit to stand trial and was held for a bail hearing on March 20 and then released with conditions. Other charges are also pending on June 10 in Fredericton.

On May 26, Gagnon was also charged with trespassing at the Sanctuary House in Woodstock on Jan. 31. A plea date was set for June 16 at 9:30 a.m.

Limestone incident

Steven Dolk, 54, of Moncton, will appear in provincial court on June 16 at 9:30 a.m. for plea on a sex charge laid by the RCMP.

Dolk was charged with sexual assault in connection with an incident on June 28, 2021, at Limestone. He appeared in provincial court for plea on May 26, when the matter was adjourned to the new date at the request of his defence counsel.

Multiple charges for Hamilton

Brandon Travis Hamilton, 36, of Woodstock, was scheduled to appear in provincial court on May 26 for plea on multiple charges laid by the RCMP. He failed to appear, and a warrant was issued.

Hamilton appeared in provincial court in custody on Feb. 25 and was released with conditions. He was charged with possession of two stolen snowmobiles, dangerous driving, fleeing police, driving while suspended, possession of a firearm while prohibited from having it, careless use of a firearm, possession of a firearm without a licence, and being an occupant of a vehicle knowing it carried a firearm, in connection with an incident on Feb. 24 in Florenceville-Bristol.

Hamilton pleaded not guilty to three other charges laid by Woodstock Police. He was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and two counts of driving while suspended on June 9, 2025, in Woodstock.

His trial on the stolen property charge was set for June 9, 2027, at 9:30 a.m. Another trial for the two alleged driving offences was set for Feb. 22, 2027, at 1:30 p.m.

More charges for Wotstak man

Takoda Louis Lee Christian, 20, of Wotstak (Woodstock First Nation), appeared in provincial court on May 26 and pleaded not guilty to two more charges laid by Woodstock Police.

Christian was charged with stalking another person and criminal harassment for incidents between Jan. 3 and Jan. 5 in Woodstock. His trial date was set for April 23, 2027, at 1:30 p.m.

He is also scheduled to appear for trial in provincial court on three separate dates after pleading not guilty to multiple charges laid by Woodstock Police and RCMP. His trial dates are set for June 10 at 9:30 a.m., June 17 at 9:30 a.m., and July 6 at 9:30 a.m.

Christian appeared in court in custody via video on March 20 after being arrested in Fredericton. He was later released on conditions. Fredericton Police charged him with flight from police, dangerous driving and breaching a no-contact order.

In June 2025, Christian was released from custody in Woodstock to attend a rehab facility and was later ordered to undergo a mental health assessment. He pleaded not guilty to a slew of charges and was awaiting trial when he was rearrested in Fredericton.

Christian was charged by Woodstock Police with breach of a release order (house arrest) on April 16, 2025, at Wotstak, and breach of a no-contact order on April 14, 2025, in Woodstock.

He was also charged with assault and unlawful confinement between June 29, 2024, and July 4, 2024, at Wotstak; assault and two counts of assault by choking in Fredericton between Feb. 10, 2025, and Feb. 19, 2025; and mischief causing property damage to a cell phone between Feb. 10 and Feb. 19, 2025, at Wotstak.

He was also charged with assaulting another man with a weapon (a knife), uttering threats and mischief, causing property damage to a window in connection with an incident on April 8, 2025, in Lansdowne.

Christian also faces charges laid by Woodstock Police following an assault outside the Royal Canadian Legion on Nov. 14, 2024. Police were called to the scene, and a man was transported to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Christian was charged with assault with a weapon (a vehicle), dangerous driving causing bodily harm, and failing to remain at the scene of an accident.

He also appeared in provincial court on April 15, 2025, and pleaded not guilty to another indictable assault charge laid by Woodstock Police.

Christian pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault concerning an incident on March 25, 2025, at the Ayr Motor Centre. Woodstock. Police said a 16-year-old victim suffered significant injuries in the incident and was transported to the Upper River Valley Hospital for treatment.

Monitoring hearing

Elizabeth Alice Davidson, 55, of Nackawic, appeared in provincial court on May 26 to set a trial date on charges laid by Woodstock Police. The matter was adjourned until June 16 at 9:30 a.m. for monitoring to allow for a possible resolution with the Crown.

Davidson was charged by Woodstock Police with breach of probation and mischief causing property damage on May 26, 2025, at the Valley Food Bank on Houlton Road. She pleaded not guilty.

Charged with theft

Rachel Sockabasin, 40, of Neqotkuk (Tobique First Nation), appeared in provincial court on May 26 and pleaded not guilty to a theft charge laid by Woodstock Police.

Sockabasin was charged with shoplifting at the Walmart on Dec. 27, 2025. Her trial date was set for May 27, 2027, at 1:30 p.m.

Awaiting plea and trial

Chad Brooker, 36, of Centreville, appeared in provincial court on May 26 for plea on three charges laid by the RCMP. The matter was adjourned until June 16 at 9:30 a.m. at the request of his defence counsel.

Brooker was charged with assault in connection with an incident on Dec. 15, 2025, in Williamstown; theft of a snowmobile on Jan. 10 in Hartland; and possession of a stolen snowmobile on Jan. 11 in Hartland.

At an earlier court appearance, he pleaded not guilty to sexual assault, touching a minor for a sexual purpose and invitation to sexual touching in connection with an incident between June 1 and Oct. 31, 2024, at Centreville. His trial was set for April 1-2, 2027, at 9:30 a.m.  A pre-trial conference was also booked for Jan. 5, 2027, at 1:30 p.m.

Facing two more charges

Adam Grant Saunders, 29, of Woodstock, appeared in provincial court on May 26 to answer two more charges laid by Woodstock Police.

Saunders was charged with break and enter and unlawful confinement. The matter was adjourned for plea until June 9 at 9:30 a.m.to allow him more time to secure legal counsel.

He will also appear for trial in provincial court on Jan. 7, 2027, at 9:30 a.m. after pleading not guilty to assault. Saunders was charged by Woodstock Police in connection with an incident on June 6, 2025, in Woodstock.

Trafficking in fentanyl

Stephen Mohan, 44, and Candace Parker, 42, both of St. Stephen, were scheduled to appear in provincial court on May 26 to answer a series of charges laid by the RCMP.

Mohan did not appear, and the court issued a warrant for his arrest. Parker’s plea was adjourned until June 16 at 9:30 a.m. A warrant was held on file since she was also not present in court.

The pair was charged with possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking on Oct. 17, 2025, in Canterbury, and possession of unstamped tobacco on Oct. 17, 2025, at Wotstak (Woodstock First Nation).  Mohan is also facing other drug charges in Fredericton.

Parker is also facing additional charges of uttering threats, assault, and robbery with violence related to the theft of a motor vehicle on Oct. 17, 2025, at Wotstak.

Mohan appeared in provincial court on Dec. 16, 2025, and pleaded not guilty to three other charges, but guilty to one other charge of resisting arrest. His trial date was set for Jan. 11, 2027, at 9:30 a.m.
