Ryan Albright was facing a domestic assault charge after police allegedly broke up a fight between him, his wife, and another woman
Ryan Albright is no longer facing a charge of domestic assault in the United States after undergoing counselling and accessing mental health services.
The courts in Bangor, Maine, confirmed that the charge against the former CEO of the Covered Bridge Potato Chips company was dismissed after he complied with directives issued by the court earlier this year.
Albright was arrested in the early hours of Oct. 19, 2024, after police were called about a domestic disturbance at a home in Bangor.
Shortly after the incident, Covered Bridge Potato Chips issued a news release stating Albright would be taking an extended leave of absence due to “recent personal health challenges.”
The police report filed with the court described a chaotic scene where an officer, brandishing a gun, had to kick in a door to stop a violent fight. None of the information in the police statement has been proven in court.
The River Valley Sun has been unable to reach Covered Bridge Potato Chips’ management to ask whether Albright would be reinstated as CEO now that the charge has been dropped.
